Secondary Rhinoplasty

Refining Results, Restoring Confidence

Secondary rhinoplasty is performed to correct unsatisfactory outcomes from previous nasal surgeries. Whether due to cosmetic irregularities or functional issues, this procedure is more complex and requires advanced surgical skills, especially when working with scarred or damaged tissue.

Ideal Candidates

  • Previous rhinoplasty patients with functional or aesthetic issues
  • Individuals with nasal asymmetry, collapse, or deformity
  • Healthy patients with at least 12 months since their last surgery

Not Suitable For

  • Patients with poor healing capacity or significant tissue loss
  • Active smokers
  • Individuals who had surgery less than 12 months ago

Recovery Timeline

  • Consultation with medical history review
  • Surgery with possible cartilage graft (ear/rib)
  • 1–2 nights in hospital
  • Day 7–10: Stitch and splint removal
  • 3 weeks: Noticeable swelling reduction
  • 6–12 months: Final results
